Time Jumpers (Five Kingdoms #5) Reviews
After a years delay for this book, its hard to believe the series is coming to an end. Brandon Mull has written some great books such as the Fablehaven series, but this one has a special blend to it.
After surviving the echo lands, Cole has little time to stop the Torivor Ramarro from escaping the temporary prison he locked him in during the events of the previous book. As he and his friends struggle to find a solution, Cole must rely on both new and old friends to not only stop Ramarro, but in t ...more
I only cried a lot. I honestly expected to cry because its the last book of a series and its been such an adventure and its always sad when things have to end. However, I not only cried because this amazing book series came to a close but because the ending was really sad. Completely out of the blue sad. All in all this book lived up to my exceptions and it was a perfectly tragic ending to the Five Kingdoms. The only thing I would've changed was how rushed the ending was. This book could've been ...more
This was a good solid finish to the series. I don’t reread when the next book comes out, so I’m sure I didn’t catch as much as someone who takes the time to refresh. It might have been because of that that the first third wasn’t as interesting to me. Or because I only read short chunks at a time until I was captive on a long flight. It got better after that. :)
This is a 4/5 stars for the genre. Not books in general. ;) Brandon Mull is somewhat predictable to me, but I love what he contributes to ...more
And the cover for Time Jumpers (Five Kingdoms, #5) by Brandon Mull has been unveiled.
My name is Cole, and it's inevitable that Ramarro will escape the Void and conquer all the kingdoms. My powers are slowly coming back since I've left the echolands, and I am the only one who might have a chance at stopping him. With the help of a Wayminder named Violet, I'm able to instantly travel anywhere in the Five Kingdoms with my friends Mira, Jace, and Twitch. We're searching for two Grand Shapers named Lorenzo and Kendo Rattan who are rumored to still be alive. Kendo created the Void, so ...more
It was a long wait for this book, the finale in a series of 5 and it was most definitely worth the wait.
Cole must now face up to his biggest challenge yet and face the torivor Ramarro who is intent on getting free and destroying the 5 kingdoms.
This final book is fast paced and Cole learns a lot more about his powers and gathers around support. We see some new characters plus some we have met before which I really liked.
There is time travel in the book which at some points gets a little confusi ...more
Great end to an amazing series!
The whole book is amazing! And I’m not sure how Brandon Mull fit just enough information into Time Jumpers and still kept me interested. The whole story line was like a roller coaster, but a fun roller coaster.
The plot was kind of hard to follow. It was constantly changing. And once Cole got one problem solved another would occur. I think the characters made up for that.
Speaking of characters. The new and old characters were great! It was fun to see everyone ...more

One thing's for sure: Brandon Mull knows how to write for kids.
Fablehaven. Beyonders. The Candyshop Wars.
Five Kingdoms? Yep. It's a winner--at least, it is if you can get past the annoying to embrace the fun.
The Five Kingdoms is a five-book series:
Book 1: Sky Raiders
Book 2: The Rogue Knight
Book 3: Crystal Keepers
Book 4: Death Weavers
Book 5: Time Jumpers
Cole is 11 and perfectly normal--until he and his friends ...more
