A wonderful conclusion to this series! My kids have loved this as well and although the epilogue has a touch of sadness to it, I can't complain about how everything worked out in this magical realm.

i really liked this book and the plot. i felt as if this book moved at an extremely fast pace and how Cole could energize Violet, a Wayminder, (a Wayminder can open wayports to other places and if you go through the wayport, you end up at that place) so that she could open many wayports after a short period of time with no rest. it kinda felt like this was used as a crutch to let them go to different places really quickly because they had to do it a lot, but like i said right before lmao they di ...more

My name is Cole, and it's inevitable that Ramarro will escape the Void and conquer all the kingdoms. My powers are slowly coming back since I've left the echolands, and I am the only one who might have a chance at stopping him. We're searching for two Grand Shapers named Lorenzo and Kendo Rattan who are rumored to still be alive. Kendo created the Void, so ...more

Great conclusion to the Five Kingdoms series. It left me wanting more and had a very bittersweet ending. Brandon Mull, you need to write a sequel series to this!

This was probably my favorite book in the series. The author did a good job at tying ends together. Cole had to make a lot of tough choices like we all have to do at times. I really liked new characters that were introduced. I like the theme that there can be hope even in the darkest of times.

Even though I haven't even read this yet, I'm sure Brandon Mull will deliver 5-star material once more.

I'm still digesting, but i'm not really sure i liked how the series ended... I liked how it kind of circled back to the beginning, but it felt a little unsatisfying...
