I have always loved Tilly Tennants books and she didn't disappoint me at all full of romance, upset, laughter and love with great characters and story line that has you hooked all the way through. So many secrets are to come out but can they come through them or not. A really excellent easy read and great to imagine the beautiful countryside they are all in.

I've read quite a few books by Tilly Tennant now and oh, they never fail to disappoint with the cosy feeling you get from reading them!
The storyline had everything you want - romance, an element of mystery, buried treasure and some upsets that eagerly have you turning the pages and wondering which way the story is going to develop.

A new Tilly Tennant book is such a delicious treat to look forward to- she has a lovely, engaging writing style.Her characters are wonderfully drawn and soon become like firm friends. The settings are so vivdly described that you can imagine yourself deep in the heart of the storyline. Full of warm friendships ,romance and secrets- you really feel so happy whilst reading this one.

an amazing book by tilly tennant. her books are always happy reads and never a let down.
We have an array of circumstances that surround this book. relationship problems relationships are made, secrets are unearthed and ancestors are wondered about and historians are involved to solve the mystery. the characters I loved especially Harper who runs the farm tea room her fiancee is a selfish idiot and I'm glad what happens to him.
